ann taylor loft stretch belt

in my search for warm and cozy, i stopped in at loft.  Loft is Ann Taylor's casual sister store, and has quickly become one of my stops for cozy knits and punched up tees.

i spotted various versions of the belt above around the store, and had to try one on for myself. what makes this belt special is the stretch. i love my low-waisted belts, but  tunic sweaters, cardigans, and dresses need a belt that fits a little higher up the waistline.

these belts come in sizes xs/s, m/l, and l/xl, and come in a couple variations like the flower above, and a rhinestone bedecked black ribbon style.  I have a tendency to buy really simple items (plain black sheath dresses, tunic sweaters, and skirts always creep into my shopping bag), and always rely on accessories to spiff them up. 

plus, the flower belt reminds me so much of lanvin! lanvin hearts poufs.
