Last week, i attended the opening night of the Chinese American Film Festival after work..

i like entertainment events..they are the only times i get to wear fun nail polish colors..you should see the looks i get if i wear them on normal days..they range from baffled to dismay..men, they just don't get it..







my dress was by ali ro, and i wore black triple strapped heels similar to the one above by claudia ciuti..this dress was one of my first purchases for fall/winter, and it's perfectly form-fitting with a leather cutout detail that is so on trend..i usually wear a size 6 dress in H&M, and i wear a size 2 in ali ro..

i hastily applied this deep aubergine with a touch of shimmer right before i left..while i loved the color, i did not love the fact that it started chipping immediately..granted, it was my bad for not using topcoat, but i really expected the polish to last a couple hours at the very least..
