ina garten "how easy is that"

for my birthday, i gifted myself this book..i have always had great experiences with barefoot contessa recipes, and the title "how easy is that" sold me immediately..

in addition to great recipes (the cauliflower side dish is amazing!), the book also shares some of ina's tips, and some of her favorite things..

the following two would make for great Christmas gifts for foodies in your life:

1. Tate's Bake Shop Chocolate Chip Cookies

these cookies were used in the "chocolate icebox cake" recipe, and ina garten raves of their thin crispy texture..i do not know one person who doesn't appreciate the perfect chocolate chip cookie, so i'm sure a box of these would be appreciated in any home..

2. Olio Santo Olive Oil

this is the olive oil that ina garten chooses to use in her recipes..everyone i know uses copious amounts of olive oil in recipes, so i'm sure this will be a welcome addition to the arsenal of any home cook..i may have to buy a bottle myself since i'm curious to see how much more enhanced dishes would taste when using a high quality oil..
