Once upon a time before there were silly bandz, colorful woven friendship bracelets used to be cool in school. You were supposed to trade them with friends, although i swear i once bought one from a vending machine for 25 cents. Even then I loved how these bracelets added pops of color to drab school outfits, and the sweet idea of wearing "love" on your wrists.

flash forward many years and i still love those colorful woven friendship bracelets, but now they have to work in my grown-up world. which is why
