looped belt clutches

this summer, i bought a dress from Zara that i love.  A gauzy army-green faux wrap dress with an extra long belt that you loop around itself.  It was the looped belt that got me because it just felt so unintentionally cool (like wearing a boyfriend's shirt).

so naturally, i was jazzed to see a new crop of clutches pop up with the looped belt detail that i so love.

This Marc by Marc Jacobs clutch has a classic shape that goes with everything, but the different colored panels make it fun.  My only concern is that it looks like you have to mess with the looped belt to get in and out.  Hmm, it would probably be best to play with this in person before i deem this a must buy.

This Reed Krakoff clutch is the sophisticated sister to the marc by marc jacobs bag above.  I love the neutral colors, and that classic shape.  And ahh relief, this one looks like it has a zippered top so the looped belt stays intact with usage.

I fell hard for reed krakoff bags while visiting Saks this past weekend.  His bags are classic, functional, and wonderful quality.  i was thisclose to purchasing this at 40% off, but opted for shoes instead.
