versatility

i am the ultimate procrastinator when it comes to packing.  i should've packed a couple days ago, but i figured i had thursday night.  and what happened? after my work event, i ended up hanging with a new associate at the mixing room  at LA Live until way past midnight.  it's hard to coax me away from wine, i always cave. 

so today, i rushed home on my lunch break to pack.  this dress was the first item thrown into my suitcase:

i love these dresses that you throw into a suitcase, and are so effortless to wear since they can be dressed up or down with just a change of footwear and the minus/plus of accessories. 

and totally off topic, but i swear this is the exact dress worn by mila kunis in the "friends with benefits" posters tacked up all around town:
