i love nordstrom!

stopped by nordstrom the other day, and picked up two items.  Items that are in no way exciting, but still make me so very happy.  

rubbish textured check infinity scarf $18 at nordstrom

i love scarves, but i'm hopeless at doing anything with them (i have been shown how to properly tie a scarf 100x, but still cannot do it).  for me, the infinity scarf is the best creation ever. you just pull over your head, and voila! instant chic.  i have been looking for a cheery red scarf for spring, and this one is perfection in one continuous loop.

my makeup bag is something i whip out every day, so i like it to be pretty.  spotted this rebecca minkoff striped pouch in the sale section, and i was drawn to it like a moth to a flame.   i am a sucker for anything striped and polka dotted (the inside lining is dotted), and i love that the flat shape doesn't take up too much room in my bag.
