a weekend away

last weekend, a couple of my dearest girlfriends and I flew out to San Francisco for a getaway.

it's been a long time since we've been able to take a vacation, and SF was a perfect option since we could fly up for the weekend, and didn't have to take any time off work.

while we were up there, we just had to visit zara.  i'm on a very strict budget right now (i had to take my car in for maintenance to the tune of $1800), but could not leave without picking up at least one item:

these sandals are such a great buy at $49.90.  color-blocking is so hot for spring, and they look great on.  most importantly though, they are very comfortable.  the suede is sturdy but supple, and won't dig into your ankles or the front of your foot. 

i like to pair this shoe with black and white pieces, and a orange leather clutch i recently picked up for spring.  the pop of color is just enough for work and fun!
