ULTA

ulta is one of those stores that i grew to love.  in the beginning, i thought it was a sephora knock-off but with only a fraction of the selection.  but over time, i found myself visiting ulta more and more.

yes, they do only have a fraction of the premium lines found in sephora stores, but ulta also carries all the drugstore lines plus harder to find bargain lines like NYX.  They also have an impressive selection of haircare lines, and a very thorough collection of essie and OPI nail polishes.

and now, there's even more reason to shop! ulta has always had a rewards program where you accumulate points, but now more points mean actual dollars off purchases.

i don't know when this program began, but i'm sure glad it's here now! it wouldn't be hard to rack up the points since you get 4 points for every dollar spent.

when you visit ulta next time, i suggest you pick up this:

this is burt's bees new tinted lip balm, and i love it.  it smells faintly sweet, swipes on easily, and is quite moisturizing.  i picked up "hyacinth" and quite like how it's a sheer medium pink.  i actually don't like the regular burt's bees beeswax balm or lip shimmers because i feel they don't have much slip and feels rough upon application.  this formula is totally different, and has a generous amount of slip.  and like all things burts bees, this product is 100% natural.
